Presentations & Practicalities

Presentations:
Time: you have 20 mins. max for your presentation and 10 mins for discussion. A shorter presentation gives you more time for feed-back.
Power-points: all rooms are equipped with projector and laptop. Bring your USB and check with our collaborators that everything works fine before your panel starts.-Sometimes is useful to have a back-up copy of your slides in PDF format, just in case.
Hand-outs & copies: please, bring with you all the material you want to circulate in your panel. We can't provide copies.
Skype: it is not possible to present via Skype, video-conference, ouija-board, etc. Sorry, but the spirit of the Meetings is to encourage live and friendly interaction.
Publication: we are building a publication proposal on Cosmopolitan Challenges for a special issue in an academic journal. Those selected according to quality, interest and thematic coherence will be contacted personally after the Meetings with the details of the proposal.
Certificates & Receipts: will be ready at the end of the conference.

Practicalities:
Conference Dinner: please remember to confirm your attendance by submitting the form in this site (before May 31st!) . Please, use only  this channel. You should get an automatic confirmation in your e-mail account. However, e-mail us if  there is any problem.
Assistance: there will be a group of extremely skillful, efficient and nice collaborators. Please, let them know if you need anything.
FAQ: We realized that some people were checking details and using contact accounts from previous editions sites. Our apologies if that was your case. Make sure you always checked the current edition (VI Meetings-2015).

As always, thank you for your good spirits and understanding in helping us running the Meetings.
